Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm (Year-round)

About the Role
Merry Poppets Nursery Ltd is looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our Pre-School team. You will lead the room in delivering high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the Pre-School room
  • Plan and implement activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and record children’s development
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Support and guide team members to maintain high standards

Requirements

  • Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above)
  • Experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Leadership or senior room experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
