About this Role

Kings Moat Community Primary School is a brand new school opening in the city of Chester in September 2026. The School is part of Sandstone Trust - other schools include Tarporley High School and Sixth Form College, Weaverham High School, Eaton Primary School and Tarvin Primary School.   This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Estates Team across the Trust.

We have two roles available to join our Estates Team:-

1 x 10 hours a week, 41 weeks a year - working  Monday to Friday 4pm until 6pm

1 x 20 hours a week, 41 weeks a year - working  Monday to Friday 7am until 11am

(41 weeks includes 38 weeks term time, 1 week INSET days and 2 weeks in the summer holiday break)

Your duties may include:-

  • General caretaking tasks such as minor maintenance, cleaning and setting up spaces for events
  • Building security including opening and locking up premises
  • Ground keeping and ensuring outdoor areas remain tidy and safe
  • Assisting the Estates Team with ad hoc tasks as required

  • Reliable and trustworthy individuals with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Basic practical skills in maintenance, cleaning and general caretaking
  • A willingness to be flexible when required
  • Enthusiasm for working within a diverse team and supporting a community resource
