Are you an experienced Reception Teacher ready to help shape a brand-new school? Kings Moat Community Primary School is seeking a Reception Class Teacher to join our founding team and play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional learning environment for our learners.

About the Role

Full-time position (Main Scale or Upper Pay Scale – up to UPS3)
Not suitable for ECTs
Start date: September 2026
Initial Reception cohort: approx. 15 children in Reception, supported by a dedicated TA

What We’re Looking For

Sustained excellence in Early Years practice
Minimum 4 years teaching experience, including at least 2 years in Reception
Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning and care
Leadership experience desirable – to help establish our new Pre-School and support the Headteacher in developing the school ethos and curriculum
A collaborative, community-focused approach to integrate the school into Kings Moat Garden Village
