About this Role

'Think Differently’ to inspire young people to overcome all barriers and achieve their dreams.

This is the Vision Statement of Think Differently Education Trust.

·       Do you want to have a positive impact on some of the most vulnerable children’s lives in Birmingham?

·       Do you want to work in an organisation that recognises the benefits of a good work/life balance for their workforce?

·       Do you want to work in an organisation that invests heavily in CPD and allocates additional training days to develop their staff?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to all these questions, join our team!

This is a particularly exciting time to join the Trust.  This marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for our community, opening up fresh new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and professional growth across Birmingham.  By joining us, you’ll be part of shaping a progressive Trust from the ground up – helping to drive meaningful change for our young people while developing your own career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

If you are a well-organised and resilient professional who has high expectations and a positive mindset this could be the job for you.

We are looking for a Level 2 IT Technician to join a growing department and work across all sites of the Trust. The role supports all of our 9 Trust centres and sites, and it is therefore a requirement that the post holder be flexible in their approach and able to work both independently and as part of the broader IT team. Being a relatively small team, there is an opportunity for team members to be involved with IT projects at all levels, gaining exposure to enterprise technologies alongside day-to-day responsibilities. The IT team are in the midst of delivering an ambitious strategy of improvement, and you will be a key player in the success. As such, only self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking candidates should apply.

If you have provided an email address, we will use that for correspondence.

If your application is shortlisted, you will be contacted via email within 2 to 3 weeks of the closing date. Please ensure you check your junk/spam inboxes.
