About this Role

The Mater Christi Trust is a growing Catholic Multi-Academy Trust with schools across Lancashire and Cumbria. We currently have 16 schools, both primary and secondary. We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Trust’s busy and hardworking Central finance team, working with support from the Trust’s Chief Financial Officer, Finance Manager and Finance Assistants to ensure that the Trust’s finance programme can run smoothly.

 

We are looking for someone who will:

·        Embrace being part of a Trust, building excellence and sharing good practice and collaborating with others

·        Ensure allocated tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner

·        Be able to prioritise their own activities within a series of financial tasks, seeking guidance where appropriate.

·        Have exacting standards, with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

·        GCSE Mathematics and English Grades 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent

·        Experience of working within a finance environment

·        Ability to operate ICT resources effectively

·        Good practical skills in using software applications to be able to enter and retrieve information and produce documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
