Salary: Scale S01- £33,140.82 to £34,024.44 (actual term time salary) 39 weeks.

Are you a creative self-starter with a passion for storytelling, digital media, and community engagement? Newham Community Learning is seeking a dynamic Marketing, Communications and Alumni Officer to elevate our brand, celebrate our community’s successes, and support our central School Improvement Team.
In this varied and impactful role, you will lead on Trust-wide marketing campaigns, manage our social media presence, oversee school websites, and build a thriving alumni network to inspire the next generation of students. Additionally, you will provide vital promotional and administrative support to our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme and high-profile enrichment events.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with a proven track record in design, media, or communications. You don’t necessarily need an education background, but you do need a flair for creative design and technical proficiency in WordPress, Canva, and social media platforms.
Essential Requirements:
Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE English & Maths or beyond).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
A collaborative, flexible approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
An understanding of modern social media trends, data management, and branding standards.
