About this Role

This will be 37 hours per week Term Time + 1 week (40 weeks worked including 5 training days).

The Yorkshire Learning Trust wishes to appoint a highly enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our STAR Eats team working in our Sherburn High school kitchens.  The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work under pressure and in a team. Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment is essential.

The role will include:   

The core focus of this job is delivering a financially effective and efficient school meals service operating to the highest standards of food safety. The post holder will do this by carrying out duties such as food preparation and service and other kitchen management duties including the menu planning, supervision of staff, ordering food, stocktaking and administration, serving meals to children and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
