Trust Photographer & Marketing Officer
Permanent, Full Time, Full Year. To commence ASAP.
Part Time or Term Time only may be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: Points 11-14 of the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff pay spine, currently £28,634- £31,324 per annum.
The Role:
The Pinnacle Learning Trust are looking to appoint a permanent Photographer and Marketing Officer, to commence as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and self motivated individual to capture the life of our trust and our academies through high quality photography and creative imagery. You will play a key role in promoting our values, achievements, and community. The successful candidate will combine strong visual storytelling skills, to enhance our trust brand and engagement across multiple platforms.
In addition to the core responsibilities of photography and marketing, the role will allow you to develop and practise your skills within graphic design and/or videography. You will support the creation of visually engaging design materials, including digital and print assets, ensuring consistency with the trust’s branding. They will also have the opportunity to plan, film, and edit high-quality video content to support promotional campaigns, events, and internal communications, helping to further enhance the trust’s profile and storytelling across a range of platforms.
The role will primarily be based at Oldham Sixth Form College but will involve some travel to our other sites, all currently within the OL8 postcode area: The Hathershaw College; Werneth Primary School; Broadfield Primary School; and, Alexandra Park Junior School.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, which will enable you to work with trust staff and external stakeholders, sharing clear messaging and content. You will work well as part of a team, but will also be able to take on work independently, having excellent written and communication skills, interpersonal and IT skills, and an eye for detail. These will see you work with the Marketing Manager on a wide range of promotional design projects, and related website and social media channels, ensuring design and branding is consistent with our high trust standards. Taking the lead on select projects, developing, creating and designing content to drive the trust’s community presence both on and offline.
The Pinnacle Learning Trust
The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017 as a result of the long-standing, strong and effective relationship between The Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College. Werneth Primary School joined our Trust in February 2019 and Broadfield Primary School in April 2023 and most recently, Alexandra Park junior School in April 2024. Our work is built upon our shared belief that young people in Oldham and the local area should have access to excellent educational provision. The Trust’s central services teams include: Estates, Finance, HR and Payroll, Marketing, IT Services and MIS. Their aim is to enhance the experience of students and staff across the Trust by providing effective and efficient central services which support them to achieve their goals.
