Trust EdTech and AI Lead
Required: Start when available for release from home school
Salary: To be negotiated depending upon experience
Part Time - 1 days per week (FTE 0.2)

We are looking to appoint someone from within the trust to take a lead on EdTech and AI development and implementation. This is a significant role and one identified within our strategic plan as something that requires specific leadership. The role will sit within the Trust Education Team, but also link closely with the work of Luke Harman, Director of IT.
This role is being made available as part of our drive to provide increased career opportunities for staff within our schools to lead on cross-school collaboration and development in addition to working in one of our schools.
As our EdTech Lead, you will champion educational technology, including artificial intelligence, across all our schools developing and embedding strategy to ensure that all are confidently using EdTech and AI tools to enhance teaching and learning and that staff are empowered through professional learning and collaboration. You will ensure that devices and platforms are deployed equitably, blended learning is embedded, and all practice fully aligns with AET policies.
Your aim is to ensure that emerging technologies are adopted thoughtfully, drive innovation, improve outcomes, and support a Trust-wide culture of safe, inclusive, and research-informed digital practice which prepares learners for a digital future.
You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong experience using educational technology, including a deep understanding of current and emerging EdTech and AI tools. You are also a confident communicator and collaborator, able to translate digital strategy into practical, scalable classroom practice and deliver high-quality professional learning.
