About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of the Primary Initial Teacher Training programme for the Alban Teaching School Hub (TSH).

The Alban TSH delivers high-quality teacher training in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) across both secondary and primary phases. We pride ourselves on training adults to become accomplished teachers who can then experience an outstanding career in education.

The person appointed will work closely with the Director of ITT, be responsible for the delivery of the weekly Primary programme in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching programme, visiting Primary trainees in their host schools and sitting on QTS panels for programme completion

We are looking to appoint someone who loves teaching and education, has great personal qualities to help motivate and inspire the next generation of teachers and someone who can provide feedback to trainees, mentors and senior leaders in schools. You will be based at Sandringham School, St. Albans as part of the Alban Teaching School Hub team.

If you are interested in this influential and exciting role as part of a highly professional organisation that pushes the boundaries of teacher professional development, we would love to hear from you.

If you would like an informal discussion about this opportunity, or would like to visit the Alban Teaching School Hub, please contact Jo Cavanagh, Director of Initial Teacher Training, Alban Teaching School Hub, via jo.cavanagh@albantsh.co.uk.

Application deadline: 9am on Friday, 25th April 2025
