Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (IPAT) is seeking committed, community-minded professionals to join our Board of Trustees on a short-term basis as we explore an exciting and significant period of strategic change, including the potential merger with another local Trust.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals with senior leadership experience, strategic insight and sound judgement to make a tangible difference to the lives of children and families across our communities, while broadening their own governance experience.
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience of leading or supporting significant organisational change within complex organisations.
Trustees play a strategic, non-executive role. Working collectively as a Board, they help shape the Trust's vision and strategy, provide support and constructive challenge to executive leaders, scrutinise performance and ensure that the Trust continues to deliver the highest possible outcomes for pupils.
The role is voluntary and offers an opportunity to contribute to an important phase in the Trust's development. Previous governance experience is welcome but not essential; we are keen to hear from individuals who can bring fresh perspectives, strategic thinking and relevant professional expertise.
Interested?
In the first instance, please contact our Governance Professional, Gordon Grimes (g.grimes@ipat.uk), who will arrange an informal conversation with the CEO and Chair of the Board. This will provide an opportunity to explore the role, discuss your interests and consider how your experience could support the Trust.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you believe your expertise, insight and perspective could strengthen our Board and help shape the future of our schools.
