About this Role
Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract

Salary: NJC points 2–5, adjusted for u21 rate

Are you a school leaver looking to start your career in
finance? Enrich Learning Trust is looking for a motivated and organised Finance
Intern to join our central Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to
gain practical workplace experience, develop finance and administration skills,
and learn how financial processes support schools across the Trust.
About the role
Working as part of the Trust Finance Team on a 3-month
fixed-term contract, you will provide support and assistance to schools and the
central trust. You will help maintain accurate records of income and
expenditure and work in line with the Trust’s financial policies and
procedures.
Key responsibilities
·
Support the management of Finance Team email
accounts, taking action or redirecting queries as needed.
·
Process invoices for payment, including checking
details, matching to purchase orders where required, and confirming
authorisation.
·
Assist with credit control, statement reviews,
purchasing queries, cash counting, ticketing systems and other basic finance
tasks.
·
Investigate finance queries and escalate
unreconciled accounts to the Finance Officer or Team Leader.
·
File and scan finance documents accurately, both
electronically and physically where required.
·
Support the preparation of financial reports,
statements and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
·
Assist with month-end and year-end processes,
including responding to auditor information requests.
