About this Role

Kingfisher Schools Trust provides direction, support and challenge to seven schools in Suffolk and Norfolk.  Our mission is to provide exceptional education for our pupils.  We are committed to helping our entire community, especially the young people in our care, to flourish.  Our work is focused on creating ‘life choices’ for young people rather than ‘life chances’.

We are looking to appoint a Director of IT to deliver an IT strategy that serves the trust’s current needs and supports its future development.  The Director of IT will be accountable for managing the trust’s IT resources, and for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality IT support service.

This is a hybrid role, which will involve travel across all of our sites.

Kingfisher Schools Trust offers a wide range of benefits, including:

  •         Excellent opportunities for development
  •         Access to a huge variety of training courses through The National College
  •         Pension scheme (LGPS) with generous employer contribution
  •         Employee Assistance Programme for free and confidential advice
  •         Shopping and leisure discounts
  •         Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme
  •         Affordable electric car salary sacrifice scheme

Please submit your application as soon as possible, as the closing date for this vacancy may be altered if a sufficient number of applications are received.

Kingfisher Schools Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be part of the pre-employment screening process for this role. An application form must be completed in full; CVs alone cannot be accepted.
