About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly credible educator to join our central team as a Trust-wide Behaviour and Relationships Lead. This role is aimed at a practitioner with a strong track record of successfully leading and improving behaviour and relational practice within a school setting. You will play a key role in shaping and influencing practice across our schools, ensuring every pupil feels safe, respected, and ready to learn within an inclusive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the embedding of the Trust-wide Behaviour and Relationships Policy and principles across all schools.
  • Support schools in implementing and embedding evidence-based strategies that promote positive behaviour and strong relationships.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff on proactive behaviour management and restorative approaches.
  • Develop and encourage collaboration and sharing of best practice.
  • Contribute to school improvement and assurance activities, including school review meetings.
  • Work with leaders to ensure behaviour strategies align with inclusion and pupil wellbeing.

·        Demonstrates high levels of professional credibility, with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior leaders, teachers, support staff and wider colleagues.

·        Support colleagues to analyse behaviourrelated data, identifying patterns, trends and underlying causes, and work collaboratively with them to determine appropriate next steps and interventions in response to the findings.

·        Coordinate the Trust-wide Team Teach programme, including organising trainer capacity, quality assuring delivery, and maintaining an overview of training compliance and scheduling across all schools.

About You

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice.
  • Experience in leading behaviour and relationships strategies at school or trust level.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practice, restorative approaches, and pupil wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • You can confidently analyse behaviour data, identify key trends, and support colleagues to interpret findings and shape appropriate next steps.

 

Commitment

 

  • 1 day per week (flexible scheduling across schools).
  • Travel across Trust schools as required.
