Unity Education
Trust is seeking a to appoint a proactive and skilled Site Maintenance Lead to
play a key role in maintaining safe, secure and welcoming learning environments
across our Trust sites.
Working under the
direction of the Trust Estates Manager, you will lead on day-to-day maintenance
and compliance matters, coordinate planned and reactive works, and act as the
vital link between individual school sites and the Trust Estates function.
This is a varied,
hands-on role with responsibility across multiple sites, ideal for someone who
enjoys practical work, problem-solving and working independently while being
part of a wider team.
The Site
Maintenance Lead role includes (but not limited to) the following key
responsibilities:
· To work in partnership with the Trust
Estates Manager and Caretakers ensuring all reactive, routine, emergency and
pre-planned maintenance schedules are monitored and managed.
· To be responsible for the management
of premises and health and safety across all trust sites.
The role is based
in Dereham but will involve appointments and travel to all trust sites across
Norfolk, therefore a full driving licence will be required. Access to a trust vehicle will be provided.
Suitable candidates
will be able to work well under their own initiative and have high levels of
resilience and an exemplary attendance record.
