About this Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Trust's IT strategy to ensure a secure and innovative digital environment.
  • Manage service desk operations, ensuring efficient logging, prioritisation, and resolution of issues.
  • Support IT infrastructure design, maintenance, and system reliability.
  • Assist with IT projects, training, and the effective use of digital resources.
  • Strengthen cyber security and disaster recovery through risk management, audits, and incident response planning.  

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in technical support or IT management. 
  • Experience in a Microsoft environment including M365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Intune, Active Directory, Google and Apple MEM, as well as various server and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure design and operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Proactive and driven, with the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customers and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential.
  • GCSEs Maths and English C or above and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be able to travel between the 18 schools within the Trust. A full driving license is required for business insurance.
