An exciting, life‑changing career with fabulous opportunities! Be part of something extraordinary.
At Chiltern Way Academy Trust, we don’t do ordinary. We are rewriting the future for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) through innovative, transformational education. Our award‑winning Multi Academy Trust provides cutting‑edge, compassionate and personalised learning across our specialist campuses.
We are seeking a Head of Post 16 who is passionate about making a real difference. We need a passionate, driven and relentless practitioner who will continue to develop Post 16 provision to have community and enterprise at the heart and make our “Get Them a Job” mission a reality! This is an exciting opportunity to further develop the life chances of young people across Chiltern Way Academy Trust.
You
will be someone who places young people at the centre of their decisions;
someone who has motivated and inspired others to do the same. You will possess
a track record of success: in improving the quality of education. You will be a
qualified, highly experienced, and exceptional teaching practitioner with
leadership experience either in a curriculum or pastoral role, or both. You
will have strong leadership skills, be an excellent communicator, with a caring
and positive attitude and ready to take on a significant level of
responsibility.
You will work alongside established leaders within a highly collaborative team to oversee the pastoral care and welfare of the sixth form students and provide leadership and support to the other team members of the Post 16 provision. You will have oversight of the pastoral, academic and social progress of all pupils in the Sixth Form, have careers education, including oversight and ultimate responsibility for the Higher Education application process and be an integral part of the Trust Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will draw on their existing strengths and have proven track records that demonstrate significant school improvement over time in outcomes and performance. Quite simply, people who are able to “build the future” for our wonderful young people.
