About this Role

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is a highly successful, award‑winning Specialist Multi Academy Trust with multiple state‑of‑the‑art campuses. Our teams work across a broad range of ASC and SEMH needs, delivering innovative, transformational education and exceptional care that changes the life chances of young people every day.  Our Post 16 provision, currently based at our Wendover campus, is seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team as a Safeguarding Welfare & Attendance (SWAS). This is an exciting opportunity to further develop the life chances of young people across Chiltern Way Academy Trust.  

About the Role

You will play a key role within our safeguarding team, working closely with the Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM).

You will:

Provide pastoral and therapeutic support to students
Respond to safeguarding, attendance and welfare concerns
Work closely with families and external agencies
Support emotional-based school avoidance (EBSA)
Contribute to a strong, collaborative safeguarding team

What We're Looking for:

A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Ability to work professionally in a multi-agency environment

It is imperative that you hold a clean current driving licence and have the use of a car during working hours.
