**INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY**
This
is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership
role at the heart of Fioretti Trust. As our Head of Finance, you will take
ownership of the central finance function — leading the team, driving financial
integrity across all eight of our schools, and being a trusted partner to our
CFO and senior leadership.
We are
a growing, ambitious Trust built on the Christian values of Aspiration, Wisdom
and Compassion. Our mission is simple: to enable every child and every adult to
flourish, every day. The financial health of the Trust is central to delivering
that mission — and this role sits right at the heart of it.
You already understand who we are. You already know what we value. Now we’re asking: are you ready to lead?
What you will do:
▪
Day-to-day management of the central finance function,
ensuring consistency and compliance across all schools
▪
Preparation and delivery of accurate monthly management
accounts and budget reporting
▪
Payroll processing, banking, BACS payments and
financial controls — including supplier management and IR35
▪
VAT compliance, audit liaison and year-end accounts
preparation in line with the Academy Trust Handbook
▪
Line management and professional development of the
central finance team
▪
Strategic financial reporting to Trustees and Local
Governing Boards, supporting the CFO
▪ Building strong working relationships with School Business Managers and finance leads across our Trust family
About you:
We’re
looking for someone who brings genuine expertise, quiet confidence and a
collaborative spirit. You will be:
▪
Experienced in finance within an educational or public
sector setting, ideally a multi-academy trust
▪
Qualified or actively working towards a recognised
accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or AAT)
▪
Skilled in management accounts, budget-setting, payroll
and financial controls
▪
Proficient with Access Education Finance or a
comparable school/trust finance system
▪
Knowledgeable about the Academy Trust Handbook and
academy financial compliance
▪
An effective manager who supports and develops the
people around you
▪
Someone who acts with integrity, takes confidentiality
seriously and thrives under pressure
Committed to our vision, our values and the wellbeing of every child in our schools
What we offer:
▪
A senior leadership role with genuine influence and
responsibility across a growing Trust
▪
The full support of our CFO and a responsive,
values-driven central team
▪
A culture that invests in people — professional
development is taken seriously here
▪
A comprehensive wellbeing package and genuine care for
work-life balance
▪
The chance to work alongside colleagues who share your
commitment to children and communities
