Governance and
Compliance Professional – Drive Excellence Across Our Trust
Strategic Role:
Lead governance and compliance across the Trust as part of our central team.
· Trusted Advisor:
Support the Trust Board, Local Governing Bodies, CEO, and senior leaders.
· Compliance Leadership:
Oversee statutory records, policy lifecycle, and regulatory requirements.
· Specialist Expertise:
Manage data protection, FOI/SAR requests, and complaints processes.
· Collaborative Impact:
Build strong relationships and promote transparency and integrity.
· Reporting Line:
Work under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Join our central team as a Governance
and Compliance Professional and play a pivotal role in shaping strong
governance across our Trust. Reporting to the COO, you’ll provide expert
advice, maintain statutory records, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements. If you’re detail-driven, highly organised, and passionate about
supporting excellence in education, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking to appoint a person who:
- Is
passionate about providing an excellent governance support to our Trust
- Has
experience of clerking committees and preparing agendas
- Has excellent communication skills and high level of accuracy
- Is
reliable, efficient, flexible, organised and able to prioritise to meet
deadlines
- Has
a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate
with children and adults alike
- Is
flexible and able to work as part of a team
- Has
GCSE Maths and English (Grace 4/C or above) or an equivalent qualification
- Is
confident in the use of ITC including use of Microsoft office programmes
- can
speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act
(2016)
