Therapy Assistant (HLTA)

Based at: Capella House Secondary Centre

Start Date: September 2026

Hours: Full Time, Permanent - 36.25 hours per week (8.15-4 Monday, Tues, Thurs. 8.15-4.30 wed, 8.15-3.30 Fri) – 39 weeks per year

Salary: Scale 6 Spinal point 18 (£30,721.33 pa actual including annual leave entitlement)

Capella House stands out for its unique approach to education, we are supported by dedicated teachers, HLTAs, TAs, and our own team of speech, occupational therapists and assistants. 

The Therapy Assistant will work under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and the Campus lead, with all pupils assigned within Capella House school.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable team, will be able to access a wealth of training and development opportunities, including robust clinical supervision and peer support.You will be based in the Capella House Therapy Office, supported by the wider Auriga Academy Trust therapy team, and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ wellbeing and learning while working as part of a collaborative, values-driven network.
