A fantastic internal progression opportunity has arisen to join the Therapy Team at Clarendon's new Riverside Centre, starting in September 2026.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (8am to 4pm, 30 minutes unpaid lunch, Monday to Friday, term time including inset days)

* Part-time / job share applications will also be considered

Salary: NJC Scale 6, spinal point 18-22 - £31,780.69 per annum actual

Due to the continued growth of the therapy service across the Trust, we are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed colleague to join our multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists as a Therapy Assistant at Clarendon Riverside.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and eager to further develop their skills in an integrated therapeutic and educational environment.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils to develop communication, learning and life skills
  • Delivering therapy programmes under the guidance of therapists
  • Supporting therapeutic approaches within the classroom
  • Preparing therapy resources and materials
  • Working collaboratively with therapists, teachers and families
  • Supporting small group and whole class therapeutic activities

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Is proactive, positive and adaptable
  • Has a strong interest in supporting pupils with SEND
  • Is keen to learn and develop professionally
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

You will be joining a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable therapy team with access to ongoing training, clinical supervision and peer support.
