About this Role

Are you a detail-oriented and organised professional looking for your next opportunity? LIFE Education Trust is looking for a Finance and Payroll Officer to join our central team and play a key role in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly and accurately across all of our schools.

In this varied and important role, you will be the main point of contact for payroll matters across the Trust, working closely with our Operations Managers, Finance Manager, People Team and external payroll provider to ensure colleagues are paid correctly and on time, every month. You will also play an exciting part in the implementation of our new payroll system, making this a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change within a growing Trust.

We are looking for someone with strong numeracy and organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential, we welcome applications from candidates who bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
