Due to the upcoming retirement of the current executive, our Trust is seeking an experienced Director of People. This is a hands-on, senior role for a qualified HR leader who has experience of working in a centralised MAT environment and can quickly establish credible relationships with headteachers and central team members alike.
Our new HR director will be responsible for leading a small team, providing support and direction in HR and payroll processes, whilst working closely with the CFO to ensure consistency of approach with our schools. Based in East Dulwich, the trust-based HR function has been in place for more than 12 months and continues to embed centralised processes across our nine schools in the Southwark and Lambeth areas of South London.

We are looking for a leader with extensive experience across the full range of employee relations issues, who is confident in supporting headteachers, senior executives, and HR professionals alike. Can you use your combined knowledge of schools and HR systems to deliver ongoing improvements to service delivery in our Trust? We are a Trust that is ambitious for growth, and therefore, experience of TUPE processes and collective consultation would be an advantage.
