Teachers Main Pay Scale M1 , 32.5 hours, 52 weeks a year.

Salary: £32,916 (Actual)

Working Pattern: 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday

We are looking to interview and appoint Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) for vacancies across any of our 19 schools within our Trust in August 2026. As a successful candidate, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals committed to achieving the best student outcomes.

We are offering the role on Teacher's Main Scale, M1, as a 1-year fixed-term contract.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A driven and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • A passion for improving the educational experience of all pupils.
  • A collaborative approach, ready to work as part of a supportive team.
  • An individual with a clear commitment to professional development and learning 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.
  • To share and support the schools' responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.
  •  To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the Curriculum Area and Department.
  • To contribute to the achievement of the school’s development plan and its implementation.
  • To plan and prepare lessons.
  • To contribute to the whole school’s planning activities.
  • Consider promoting and safeguarding pupils’ welfare as paramount, and action in accordance with the responsibility ‘in loco parentis’.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (or equivalent certification in other countries). (E)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification. Alternatively, a degree in a relevant subject plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). (E)
  • Enhanced DBS check (in the UK) for safeguarding children. (E)
  • Evidence of participation in further professional development or study (D)
  • Basic first aid training (D)·
