Location: Scalby School
Contract: Permanent
Hours/ Working Pattern: 25 hours per week, TTO plus two weeks
(41 weeks).
Salary/ Hourly Rate: Grade F – Annual Salary £26,409 - £28,163 Actual Salary is £16,290 - £17,372

Our Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an astute and highly
motivated Finance Assistant to join our central finance team who provide a full
range of finance and budget management support to our schools.
This role will include a range of finance
administrative tasks including the processing of purchase ledger, sales ledger
and cash book transactions.
You will:

Have
a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English. An NVQ with
finance or AAT level qualification or experience within the finance sector at
this level or above is desirable.

Support
the Finance Officer/Trust Financial Services Manager (TFSM) in the day to day
operations of the department including the processing of purchase ledger, sales
ledger and cashbook transactions
·
Advise
other staff across the Trust on financial policies and procedures
·
Ensure
all relevant finance paperwork is completed and returned by deadlines.
·
Assist
in the production of financial reports for the TFSM, detailing issues and
recommendations
·
Support
the Finance Officer to complete all Year End close down paperwork by the
required deadlines.
·
Support
the Finance Officer in preparing for Audit inspections
·
Undertake
administrative duties as required
