Are you highly organised, creative, and ready to make an impact?
We’re looking for a proactive Business Support Officer to join our shared services team and play a key role in driving forward our organisational excellence and communications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys variety, and is passionate about supporting a values‑led organisation.

Why join us?

At the Every Child Every Day Academy Trust, we are committed to empowering people, enriching culture, and transforming futures. As we grow, so does the impact of our shared services team — and we are now seeking someone who will help shape the way we communicate our vision, celebrate our achievements, and support our Executive Team.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive environment where your ideas and initiative will truly make a difference.

About the role

As our Business Support Officer, you will:

Be the backbone of Executive Team operations

You’ll provide high‑quality administrative and organisational support — from managing diaries and preparing meetings to coordinating Trust‑wide events and ensuring smooth communication at every level.

Lead our communications and brand presence

You will take the lead on our digital and social media strategy, craft engaging content, develop marketing materials, and ensure our Trust’s story is told consistently and professionally.

Drive forward key projects

You’ll support Trust‑wide initiatives, gather data, conduct research, and prepare reports that help inform strategic decision‑making.

Build strong relationships

As a welcoming and professional first point of contact, you’ll work closely with the Executive Team, Headteachers, school colleagues, and external partners.

What we’re looking for

Someone who is:

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Creative, with the ability to produce high‑quality digital and print materials
  • Tech‑savvy, especially across social media, website content management, and design tools
  • A proactive problem‑solver who can anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Professional, personable and discreet, especially when handling confidential information

If you enjoy variety in your work, love creating streamlined processes, and get satisfaction from helping things run smoothly — this is the role for you.

What we offer

  • A supportive, forward‑thinking Trust environment
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • The chance to shape communications and brand identity during an exciting period of growth
  • A role where creativity, initiative, and collaboration are highly valued

If you’re excited by this opportunity and think you have the skills, experience and mindset to thrive, we would love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us build a Trust where every child — and every colleague — can thrive every day.

Interview Date: Interviews will be held when suitable applications are received.  We reserve the right to withdraw the advert if suitable candidates are found.

The Trustees are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons and the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and social media checks.
