The Directors of the St John the Baptist Catholic Multi-Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional educational leader, who is committed to supporting all our schools (both Primary and Secondary) to achieve the best personal and educational outcomes for every child in every school in our Trust.

This role will involve identifying and building upon the best practice in our schools through our culture of careful implementation, purposeful collaboration and people growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in wider school improvement, enhancing educational standards and driving strategic development.

The successful candidate will:

• Be passionate and deeply committed to fostering safe, inclusive and positive learning environments where every child can embrace all possibilities and truly flourish;

• Be an outstanding strategic leader, with a visionary approach to school improvement, with the ability to translate ideas into practical outcomes;

• Be committed to ensuring the development and progression of staff and leaders of the future;

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and promote the Trust’s vision for inclusion;

• Be able to work collaboratively within our multi-academy trust, sharing best practices and contributing to the common good;

• Play a full part in the life of the Trust, fostering and upholding the distinctive Catholic ethos and values of the schools and the Trust.

We can offer:

• The opportunity to work within a forward-thinking multi-academy trust, committed to achieving excellence through careful implementation, purposeful collaboration and people growth;

• Belonging to a professional, supportive and dynamic Trust Executive Team;

• Flexible working arrangements;

• Membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme;

• An Employee Assistance Programme;

• Welcoming, calm and inclusive schools which thrive on mutual respect and care for each other, acknowledged by 8 Ofsted inspections in 2024;

• Excellent opportunities for collaboration with our Teaching School Hub, Research School and the Diocese;

• Ongoing professional development and a commitment to wellbeing, as set out in our Staff Charter.
