About this Role

An exciting, life‑changing career with fabulous opportunities. Be part of something extraordinary.

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is a highly successful, award‑winning Specialist Multi Academy Trust with multiple state‑of‑the‑art campuses. Our teams work across a broad range of ASC and SEMH needs, delivering innovative, transformational education and exceptional care that changes the life chances of young people every day.

At Chiltern Way Academy Trust, we are dedicated to supporting young people with ASC and SEMH through innovative and nurturing education.

As a Governance and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting effective governance, compliance and accountability across our award-winning Multi Academy Trust. Working closely with Trustees, Governors, Local Advisory Committees and senior leaders, you will provide professional clerking support, ensure meetings are well organised and accurately recorded, and help maintain a robust governance framework that meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for managing governance records, supporting policy and compliance processes, monitoring key deadlines, and providing procedural advice to stakeholders across the Trust. In addition, you will support data protection activities, including the administration of Subject Access Requests, helping to ensure confidentiality, transparency and best practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with exceptional attention to detail to make a meaningful contribution to a Trust that is committed to improving outcomes and life chances for young people with additional needs.

Join us—and help change lives, shape futures, and make a lasting impact.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We actively promote a culture where everyone is treated fairly and has the opportunity to thrive.

Chiltern Way is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.  Chiltern Way Academy will comply with its obligations under the GDPR and other data protection legislation.
