The Role
Cygnus Academies Trust are seeking
an exceptional Payroll Officer to join our HR team on a part-time and permanent
basis. This is a newly created role, to concentrate
on the payroll aspects of the HR department but will provide support with HR
administration when needed. The
part-time hours can be flexible due to payroll deadlines and busy times.
This person will be responsible
for processing the monthly payroll and liaising with our external payroll
provider to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time. They will be responsible for maintaining an
accurate record on our payroll system and ensuring compliance and relevant
legislation are followed. They will have
good communication skills to deal with employee’s payroll queries. They will
process and reconcile all pay increases and uplifts for teachers and support
staff. They will assist with onboarding
and other HR duties to ensure efficiency of the department is maintained.
