Trust Senior Caretaker

Grade 8: Actual annual salary - £31,067 to £32,654 

37 hours per week, full year

Temporary 

Location: Primarily based at Batley Girls’ High School and working across the Trust family of schools (all Batley based and all within a 5 minute drive of each other). 

To commence as soon as possible

Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School; Batley Grammar School; Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all our young people regardless of their background or starting point. Collaboration across our Trust family of schools enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters. 

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, experienced and enthusiastic Senior Caretaker to join the team. The post holder will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and safety of premises across the Trust family of schools. The successful applicant will have considerable experience of site maintenance, grounds maintenance and/ or site security or equivalent, experience of operating tools and equipment and be a good communicator and team player.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across different school sites in Batley where required and be able to work early/late shifts and out of school hours. It is essential that you have a full/clean driving license and have access to a car.
