Red Kite Learning Trust is seeking committed and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Local Governing Boards across our schools in North Yorkshire and Leeds.

This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills, experience and perspective to help shape the future of education for children and young people in your local community.

About the Role

As a School Governor, you will work with school leaders and fellow governors to provide support, challenge and strategic oversight, helping schools to deliver the highest standards of education and care.

Governors play a vital role in focusing on key areas including:

  • Children and wellbeing
  • Curriculum and quality of education
  • Community engagement
  • School culture and values 

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. You do not need previous governance experience.
