Woodingdean Primary School is a 2 form entry school, set in superb grounds to the east of Brighton. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and committed Year 1 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and helping children make a confident transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will:

·         Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum

·         Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

·         Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues

·         Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment

·         Contribute to the wider life of the school
