St Laurence Church Junior
School is looking for exceptional Grade 3 Teaching Assistants, who have experience working with SEND. We have two positions on fixed term contracts for 12 months and. The roles are both for 30 hours per week and on a term time only basis.
We are looking for someone
who:
- is nurturing and caring
- is empathetic and has a passionate approach to working with children
- is proactive, flexible and willing
- has the ability to build a rapport with disengaged students
- is confident in working with students with challenging behaviour
- has a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
- has the ability and experience to run small group interventions
- can liaise with teachers, SENDCO and parents
- has experience or an understanding of working with children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties or learning difficulties, SEMH and trauma
