This role is based at Fairfield Infant School.
We would like to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to work in our wonderful school.
You will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors while also being responsible for a diverse range of administrative duties, contributing to the effective and smooth running of the school.
Therefore, we would welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working in an administrative role within an educational environment.
You will report directly to the School Operations Manager and be responsible for providing support in carrying out a range of administrative duties.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Administrative Assistant to join our team at Fairfield Infant School with the following qualities:
Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people while following instructions accurately.
Hold recognised GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Have recent administrative or office experience, ideally within a primary school or nursery setting.
Show a genuine commitment to becoming a valued member of a dedicated school team.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Remain flexible, positive, and approachable, with a good sense of humour and the ability to thrive in a busy school environment.
Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong general IT and computer literacy skills.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and other members of the school community.
Prioritise workloads effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Adapt to the changing demands and responsibilities of the role.
Use initiative confidently and work effectively both independently and with minimal supervision.
