You will also coordinate the daily organisation of the provision, support and direct colleagues, and build strong relationships with children, families and school staff.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with school-aged children, including Nursery-aged children
  • Have a positive, caring and patient approach
  • Be able to lead engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
  • Be confident managing behaviour positively and sensitively
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A Level 3 qualification such as NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or equivalent is essential. A paediatric first aid qualification would be desirable.
