Primary School.
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning
Support Assistant to join our successful and forward-thinking primary school.
This is a fixed term, full-time position starting on 1st September 2026.
Applications for part-time working will also be considered.
The successful candidate will work with children with SEND
within a mainstream primary setting across a range of age groups. The role will
involve:

Providing academic and pastoral support to pupils on
an individual basis
·
Supporting inclusion and engagement in the classroom
·
Working closely with class teachers and the wider
school team
·
Helping children to develop confidence, independence
and positive learning behaviours
·
Supporting children in their social engagement and
play
We are looking for someone who:
·
Has experience supporting children with SEND and a
good understanding of a range of additional needs
·
Is patient, nurturing and adaptable
·
Is able to use their initiative and respond positively
to the individual needs of children
·
Has a strong understanding of child development and
knows how to engage and motivate children in their learning
·
Can build positive relationships with children, staff
and families
·
Is committed to helping every child achieve their
potential
