Franklin Sixth Form College are seeking
to appoint two talented and dynamic Progress Coaches with excellent interpersonal
skills to join our team. One post is permanent and one is a fixed term maternity cover position.
Progress Coaches are responsible
for a case load of students and work with young people in group settings,
smaller tutorials, and individual one-to-one supervisory meetings. They check and monitor student attendance,
liaise with teaching and support staff, and provide essential guidance. As a Progress Coach, you will have direct
contact with students, their families, and other stakeholders, offering support
with financial, academic, social and emotional challenges that may be of
significance to the progress of the student. You will play a crucial role in helping
students to overcome obstacles, maintain full attendance, and maximise their
learning opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity
for individuals passionate about working work with young people and looking to
gain valuable experience of supporting students in a successful and vibrant
sixth form college environment. Full training will be provided.
Applicants must be educated to
minimum of level 3 (A Level) with a good standard of English. Applicants must
also be reliable and professional, have excellent communication skills, be
empathetic and able to work under pressure.
Full time/term time only
salary = £21,423.60 to £22,836.29 per annum
(These posts are on the Sixth
Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine 5-9; currently £25,159 to £26,818 FTE,
depending on experience).
