MIS Funding & Information Officer - Full time/All Year Round

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented MIS Funding & Information Officer to join our Management Information Systems (MIS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with data, systems, and funding processes to support the effective operation of the College and contribute to high-quality management information and funding compliance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate learner and funding records within college systems, completing funding returns, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with DfE and other funding body guidance. Working closely with curriculum, finance, and student services teams, the postholder will help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of college data, while also supporting enrolment, Individualised Learner Record (ILR) returns, and audit-related processes.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines. The ideal candidate will be confident working with spreadsheets, databases, and MIS systems, and will be able to interpret and apply funding guidance effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and build positive working relationships across departments. Previous experience within an education, funding, or MIS environment would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone looking to further develop their expertise in funding, data management, and operational support within the further education sector.

The salary range for this role is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay, Spine Points NJC 12 to NJC 14, currently £29,544 FTE to £31,324 FTE.
