About this Role

This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on employability support in real workplace settings with supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, helping young people with SEND take meaningful steps towards employment, greater independence and fulfilling adult lives.

At Finding Futures, you could work across our two specialist pathways:

-      Project SEARCH’ supported internship programme – supporting learners within a variety of work placements through direct job coaching and employer engagement.

-      ‘Works for You’ route to employment programme supporting learners to develop confidence, independence and foundational employability skills through a classroom-based curriculum that is delivered alongside work-related learning, experiences and placements.

Whether supporting learners in the classroom, coaching them in the workplace, or networking with employers to create opportunities, you will play a vital role in helping young people develop valuable skills and progress towards their future careers.

At the heart of this role is a commitment to inclusion and high aspirations. You will support learners to:

  • Navigate workplace expectations
  • Recognise and build on their strengths
  • Develop confidence, independence and resilience
  • Gain real-world employability skills
  • Explore career pathways and aspirations
  • Take meaningful and life-changing steps towards employment

This role also involves working closely with employers, colleagues and families to remove barriers, create opportunities and ensure every learner can thrive.

You will join a supportive, collaborative and ambitious team, united by a shared belief in the potential of every young person. At Finding Futures, staff work together to challenge barriers, celebrate progress and enable learners to achieve amazing outcomes.

If you are enthusiastic about making a difference, passionate about supporting young people, and excited by the opportunity to help learners move from education into employment, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that this role is based in Bath and may involve working across Finding Futures sites. All applications must be submitted via MyNewTerm.

The Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
