G4 (Points 6 – 11), 31.25 hours per week, 39 Weeks
£11.39 - £12.47 per hour.
The Lighthouse
Multi Academy Trust wish to appoint a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive
Learning Support Assistant to join Lindens Academy. Lindens Academy is a
mainstream setting with an Additional Resource Provision for supporting pupils
with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. This is a temporary post
linked to funding.

Key
Responsibilities;
·
Support pupils
with complex medical needs and physical disabilities in both the classroom and
wider academy environment.
·
Assist pupils to
access learning activities, adapting support to meet individual needs.
·
Provide personal
care where required throughout the school day with dignity and respect.
·
Be willing to
receive additional manual handling training to support the safe transfer and
movement of pupils, including using specialist equipment when necessary.
·
Work closely with
teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver high-quality support.
·
Promote inclusion,
independence and wellbeing for all pupils.
·
Facilitate
Physical Management plans as part of the provision.
We are looking for an
individual with;
·
Experience of
working with children with additional needs
·
Minimum Level 2 qualification which is a Department
for Education (DfE) recognised Early Years qualification, or equivalent
qualification or relevant experience that meets the approved Early Years
requirements in England.
This post involves working with children and
therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of
criminal records check at an enhanced level. Further information about the
