The role of the teaching assistant will consist of supporting learning
led by the class teacher, small group work and 1.1 teaching. In addition,
teaching assistants will support students with personal care and hygiene.
The teaching assistant will be responsible for assisting the teacher
to plan and assess student progress in all areas of the curriculum, whilst supporting
in the management of any behaviours displayed by students.
You should have proven
experience of working within primary schools and have at least NVQ2
qualifications or GCSE C or above in both English and Maths.
