The Role

As a Class Teacher at Hunsbury Park, you will:

  •        Plan and deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge all learners, meeting the needs of every child in your class.
  •        Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils thrive.
  •        Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure high levels of engagement, motivation and progress.
  •        Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress systematically, using data to inform planning and next steps.
  •        Communicate effectively with parents, carers and colleagues to build strong partnerships.
  •        Contribute actively to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
  •   Uphold the school's ethos, values and policies, acting as an outstanding role model for pupils and colleagues alike.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  •        A qualified and experience teacher (QTS) or a confident Early Career Teacher (ECT) at the start of their teaching career.
  •        Passionate about primary education and committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  •    Knowledgeable about the Primary National Curriculum and current approaches to teaching and assessment.
  •        Able to set high expectations and inspire pupils to achieve their very best.
  •        A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •        Flexible and adaptable, willing to work across year groups as required.   
  •        Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
