The successful candidate will work both individually, and as part of a team including Teachers and other support staff and/or one to one with a child to support the learning and welfare of all children at Moorlands. The role will involve leading and organising sporting events both internally and externally, training children for sports events, supporting with behaviour, as well as working in the classroom where needed.

This will be a 25 hour contract, with a flexible working pattern to allow for attendance at sporting events which run outside usual school hours. We are looking for a highly organised individual who will make a significant contribution to sports events at Moorlands.

The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are also vital to this role.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
