About this Role

Hellingly Community Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant 3 to join our team working across the whole school. You will need to be able to work well in a whole class or small group setting and will have the initiative to support children's learning journey.

Are you able to:-

• Undertake practical, supervisory and support work in order to assist teachers in delivering quality learning to pupils?

• Engage individual pupils and small groups in identified learning programmes eg phonics, reading, spelling, handwriting/presentation, maths, social skills and
behaviour?

• Manage pupils in accordance with behaviour programmes?

• Assist pupils with personal and medical care routines?

Ideally applicants would hold the Teaching Assistant 3 qualification. 

The role will be from 8:45am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday including playtime break duties and MDSA duty, to start as soon as possible. This is a Fixed Term position until 22nd July 2026.

The successful candidate will be joining a very committed staff and their ability to work well within our team is crucial. Excellent support will be available from colleagues in both our school and from our colleagues as part of the Wandle Learning Trust.
