About this Role

Business Administration Apprentice

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Wingate Primary and Infant School as a Business Administration Apprentice.

This temporary role is perfect for someone looking to begin a career in administration within a supportive and welcoming school environment, while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification. As part of our friendly and dedicated team, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school, gaining hands-on experience in reception duties, communication with parents and visitors, maintaining records, and providing essential administrative and organisational support across both school sites.

You will also have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in areas such as data management, finance processes and school operations, while contributing to the smooth and effective running of our schools.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and able to demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, build confidence and develop a wide range of transferable skills in a rewarding educational setting.

Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which aren't 'protected' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and check to establish that a person is not barred from 'regulated activity' as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.

Please note that we operate a probationary period of 4 months across all jobs in the Trust (see attached policy for further details). You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
