We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and positive teacher to join our amazing Early Years Team.  This is a really exciting time to join The Lanes with a new Early Years Leader and the development of our school nursery.   We are a very happy school with fantastic children in a very supportive community.  You will be working within a team of dedicated professionals who work hard every day to provide the best experiences and education for our children.   We are a three-form entry school which means you will have a strong team around you for guidance and support.  You will have lots of opportunities to share your ideas – we are always looking for new and exciting ways to work.  If you are ready for a new adventure at a school which is really going places, we would love to hear from you!

The Lanes Primary School is a three-form entry school, with a nursery, based across two sites and is part of the White Hills Park Trust.

One of our guiding principles, which supports our efforts every day, is excellence.  Everything we do is led by our desire to show excellence...this might be in our approach to work, the way we treat others, the manners we use toward our peers and visitors or in the way we respond to new experiences. You will hear the word 'excellent' many times as you move through school.

We are a community of passionate educators who believe every child can succeed. We celebrate diversity and create an inclusive, caring environment where all feel valued.

We nurture respect, empathy, and a love of learning, ensuring children feel happy, safe, and ready for future success.

With high aspirations for every child, we empower them to flourish as confident, curious, and compassionate learners, who reach their full potential.

Our curriculum offers breadth and balance, providing rich and meaningful opportunities which connect our children to the wider world.

We celebrate perseverance; resilience and risk taking, ensuring children welcome challenge and are not frightened to make mistakes. We encourage children to take ownership of, and responsibility for their learning, so they have the confidence and curiosity to ask questions, solve problems and respond to quality feedback.

The foundation stage of school is where it all begins!  If you are the sort of person who enjoys getting your sleeves rolled up, wants to develop your craft as excellent early years practitioner and has a desire to enable all children to flourish we would love to hear from you!

We are committed to supporting the wellbeing and career aspirations of our staff team.

Our partnership of schools is united by shared ethos and values, working in deep collaboration to give all our children the best possible start in life. Our mission is to provide the very best opportunities and outcomes for young people.  Our staff work closely together to deliver high quality teaching and learning, share good practice, pool resources and participate in joint projects for the benefit of pupils.
