Co‑opted Governor vacancy – Hillary Primary School
Hillary Primary School is a vibrant and family-orientated school where children come first. Our highly motivated and committed staff team place a strong emphasis on developing positive relationships with our children and our families, placing nurture at the very heart of everything we do. Investing quality time, getting to know our children and families and understanding our children’s needs are our underlying principles. We have a successful Thrive team who are highly trained to meet the individual needs of all pupils so that all pupils can get the support they need so that disruption to their education is kept to a minimum.
We believe that when a child leaves our school they will be,
ASPIRATIONAL, INQUISITIVE, ARTICULATE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, UNIQUE and because of these skills our pupils will THRIVE in a 21st Century Modern Britain.

Governors are required to attend 6 meetings per year which are usually held at the school but may held via Microsoft Teams.
They will also usually take a role as link governor for a particular area of the school or curriculum and would usually visit the school once per term for this.
