We are seeking an innovative and motivated Teacher of Art with a passion for their subject and a strong commitment to raising standards for all learners. The Art department provides an excellent learning experience for students, enhanced by a wide range of enriching opportunities and trips. The team takes pride in students’ successes, fostering a supportive learning environment and delivering creative, forward-thinking teaching.

Depending on experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Art across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The ability to offer a second subject would be advantageous. This post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Has a passion for their subject
Is able to demonstrate a talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best
Has rigorous planning and preparation skills
Has the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively
Can be resilient under pressure
Is self-reflective and committed to developing as a teacher
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
