St Matthew’s CE Primary School is a thriving and inclusive school. We continuously look to significantly invest in our staff, to make a real impact on the lives of our children.   Start September 2026 until July 2027 in the first instance.

We are looking to appoint 2 experienced and committed LSA's to join our team at St Matthew's. In this fixed-term role you will have the opportunity to work with our children, supporting their development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide promote the learning and development to children to whom you are assigned including 1:1 support
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and stimulating learning activities
  • Help to create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Contribute to the planning and assessment of children's progress
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and progress of all children

Desirable Qualities:

  • Knowledge of working in a primary school curriculum
  • Experience working with children with SEND needs
  • Creativity and a passion for engaging children in learning through play

Working days are Monday to Friday - 08:15 - 15:30 term time only
